Data Collection
PartyRadar does not require registration and does not store personal user data. No personal data undergoes processing during regular app use.
Consent revocation is not applicable since no personal data is processed.
App Permissions
The app requires the following permissions to function:
- Location access — Required for discovering events near you
- Storage access — Required for image caching
- Network access — Required for retrieving event data
Third-Party Services
Firebase Analytics and Google Maps may collect anonymous usage data. No personally identifiable information is shared with these services.
Website Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
The PartyRadar website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. GA4 is only activated after you have given explicit consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. It collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited, referral sources, device type, and interactions with key elements like app store buttons. This data helps us understand how visitors use the site and improve it over time.
GA4 sets cookies and uses similar technologies to distinguish visitors. Data may be transmitted to and stored on Google servers outside the European Economic Area. Google acts as a data processor under a standard data processing agreement. More information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops all future tracking; it does not affect data already collected before withdrawal.
Data Security
Technical safeguards are implemented with encrypted data transmission to protect any data in transit.
Your Rights
As no personal data is processed, data portability and access requests are not applicable. Citizens may file complaints regarding data protection violations with Austria's Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at.
Policy Updates
Changes to this policy are notified via updated modification dates. Periodic review of this page is encouraged.
